The Luminous Colors, Lustrous Textures, and Original Designs of our own Socially Responsible Rugs

Our Silk Road Weaves™ area rugs have a contemporary look, while making great design sense even when used in traditional or mixed-style décor or when used together in adjacent rooms. Contact us to get the details about how you can own a genuine Silk Road Weaves Tibetan rug to enhance your own home! Check out my original art work to order a piece from the fine art collection, made into your own custom rug.

What makes it even better?
Guaranteeing you No Child Labor: We’re GoodWeave-certified.

Is a “Tibetan rug” really from Tibet? Get the story here.
Most contemporary Tibetan rugs, including ours, are made in Nepal. These higher quality Tibetan rugs are made by companies who are members of GoodWeave, thus guaranteeing there’s NO child labor used in the manufacturing process. Some are also made in India, hence the name “IndoTibetan.”  There is a difference in construction, materials, and overall quality.

People are asking : what’s the source of Inspiration?

Vision + Artistry in contemporary heirlooms
My actual design inspirations come from myriad directions, with such seemingly disparate origins as light, nature, history, document textiles, travel, and much more. I enjoy moving visual ideas into design styles from painterly to graphic or geometric.

With this exciting medium of creating fine art for the floor, I offer you another avenue for creating beautiful, healthy commercial and residential environments.

Antique Chinese furniture pieces look great with contemporary Tibetan rugs. Thanks for the mention, Ruth.
