Even the seemingly solid color areas come alive with our unique combinations of yarn colors and weaving technique. This is our method of "optical color mixing" translated into fiber.

Color and Design
The collection was conceived with the underlying concept that, although the designs vary, they can be used in a coordinated way in connecting rooms. The color palette is such that, for example, you can put Leaves and Lines in one room and Geo Elements in the next room, and-like any successful relationship-they will have a harmonious dynamic while retaining their uniqueness.

About color rendition
Remember that the colors you see on your computer screen may vary from the actual wool in the rugs. Carpet images may not display as accurate colors due to the difference in computers.

Color is Key
Focus on the Floor
The selection of floor color-and floor covering-is critical in creating an inviting and harmonious space. In fact, experienced interior designers often start with a fine rug as the kernel of energy from which the rest of the room emerges.

Colors
Restful or scintillating; modern or classic-Combinations created to function using multiple rugs in a unified style throughout adjacent rooms.

Materials
A mixture of thick, 4-ply twisted fine Afghan Ghazni and New Zealand wools is blended with select, high-quality Dhariwal Indian wool. This fiber combination creates very durable and strong yarns. The wools are hand-carded and hand-dyed using organic dyes. Each rug is individually hand-knotted. Many of the rugs include silk accents, depending on the individual designs.

Fine Art for the Floor
Each rug design is created as an original painting with a unique composition. The designs do not use mechanical "repeats" of motif.

Technique
Our weavers use a combination of Tibetan and Turkish knots. The yarns are hand carded, hand spun and naturally dyed. For variation within each color palette we include a fresh look of "broken color" as well as solids.

The Woven Palette™ is inspired by an affinity with the Arts and Crafts movement and design tradition. However, all of our designs are original and unique to this collection.

All of our colors are created exclusively for this collection, but your personal color needs can be met through our unique, complete customization process. If you are inspired to re-create these rugs in the fiber and color choices that best suit your individual needs, we are available to help with this process either with you directly or through your own interior designer. We offer unique capabilities for complete customization of color, size, and pile height. Our hand knotted rugs are made in India using an innovative weaving process. Typical lead time 10 to 16 weeks from placing your order.
