For architecture and interiors
Residential, corporate, health care and small medical offices, assisted living, retail, education, hospitality, restaurants entertainment, fitness facilities.

Colors of buildings influence our perception of the structures. This is especially important in multiple commercial buildings or residential communities. Colors in interiors affect how we feel, living and working in those spaces.

In business, the colors you use affect your bottom line.
We help you select the right colors for your workplace, marketing, and products. This means selecting the right colors for your business.

Color in your workplace affects productivity. Consumers are influenced by product colors and marketing materials. Color Marketing Group states that "Color Sells, and the 'Right' Colors Sell Better."

Who are our clients? People who make decisions about paint color and other building materials.
We work with architects, interior designers, building and painting contractors, facility managers, business owners, and homeowners. Many of our clients are in the greater Boston area, but no matter where you are we can work with you to use color to your best advantage. Please email to inquire about the possibilities in using our long-distance, email color consultation services.

For every project: Ergonomics and function
As an IACC Accredited Color Consultant/Designer, two requirements top my considerations for every project: to design with visual ergonomics in mind, and to satisfy the functional requirements of the environment or the object. This means considering the qualities of basic human responses to color in both the physical and the psychological realms, in addition to aesthetics and harmony.

"Mood," or emotion? Color has a significant psychological and biological impact.
Our preferences for various colors stem in part from personal memories and emotions. Colors carry a tremendous emotional appeal and influence. While a "mood" is a transitory phase, our emotional states are more long term.

That is why, in our places of work, at home, and even in recreational environments, it's important that we use colors—and combinations of colors—in a supportive and functional way that will help us achieve our goals, from relaxation, to study and concentration, to more active work performance.

This is "applied color psychology," integrating the art and science of color.

Interior and Exterior Color Consulting: Where does it take place?
On-site, at your home or office. However, distance from the greater Boston area is not an issue. I often work with clients by e-mail and US mail, starting with a set of print or digital photos of your site that you provide. Upon receiving your completed Integral Color and Design Profile™ questionnaire (which I will send to you to fill out) and your photos, I can begin to select the best colors for your home or other buildings. For remodeling or new construction, I would work from architectural drawings and elevations, combined with your photos of the building site and the surrounding areas.

Call us at (508) 359-5753 or email to discuss projects for your home, your business, or a client project. We look forward to working with you.
